For my internship at Añañau Thibo and I created a new website for the organisation. Their old website wasn't supported anymore because of outdated plugins. We made a website with a more modern look and tried to make the website more appealing to possible volunteers or interns. We also made it more manageable for the organisation itself.

Slacky is a Slack clone where you can create channels and send chat messages in these channels. You are able to log in through Google authentication. This way you always send messages from your personal account. Because this was a practise project, I didn't implement personal channels.  I created the application with ReactJS and Styled Components. I also used Redux for global State mananagement. For the authentication and the database I've used Firebase Authentication and FireStore. This was a real fun project to make. I will possibly add features in the future to practise new skills or functionalities.

BeatTheBoredom is web application build around the BoredAPI. On the application you can generate random activities, post your own activities to the community and save activities from yourself or others to one of your custom bucketlists. You can create multiple bucketlists, so you always find something to do in every situation.  BeatTheBoredom is created with React and CSS in the frontend. I also built a backend for this application with NodeJS. The application provides authentication so all of you personal data, bucketlists and activities are saved to your profile. This application was a project for college so there is a possibility that it may no longer be available when you view this.

In April 2022 me and a friend of mine decided to start our own business. With our business we want to create websites for other small and local business to help them spread their work. We designed and developed our website from scratch in AdobeXD. After several designs, we finally found one that fit the values of TUURBODESIGNS.  Afterwards, we worked out the entire website in ReactJS. For the style of the website we used basic CSS. We are very happy with how it turned out. Obviously, we will keep improving and extending the website.

TUURBODESIGNS

MovieRatings.io is a web application where you can scroll through trending movies and TV Shows and get some information and ratings about them. The application uses the TMDB public Api to retreive all the data that is being displayed in the application. Because it's made with NextJS, I used Server-Side rendering where this was usefull.  This project is still a work in progress so I will keep adding features to improve this application, as well as my skills. I intentionally created this application to learn NextJS and TailwindCSS.
